AB40k Maintainers

I don't know what the official release date for IA 10 is, but I think it went up for sale on December 12th, 2010.

I am not complaining that the files for it aren't out yet (far from it.) I would like to madly praise the team here for the wonderful work they do.

I was just writing a quick post to ensure that this unique army list would be included in the data files (whenever they go up), and that the options for things like Mantlets would be included as well.

I have the book so if anyone has any questions regarding the information found within then I would also be happy to answer any questions.

I am sorry if I am breaching netiquite by replying to my own post. I was just wondering if anyone had any idea on when the IA10 information would be imported into the new Army Builder files.

The book didn't ship officially till the 4th of January, so the minimum 1 month embargo would push the earliest release to the end of the first week of February. It's the actual street date (shipping date in the case of FW) that the 1 month is taken from, not the pre-order date.

However, as none of the maintainers have yet got hold of the IA10 book the inclusion of the lists and units may well be delayed further. Thank you for the offer of helping with information, but in order to avoid any confusion introduced by details being passed "second hand" the maintainers actually need access to a printed copy of the book.

I think one of us would have to buy it first! I think we are all suffering from PHTWS (Post Holiday Thin Wallet Syndrome) right now. Coupled with start of the year lots of things to do at work malady.

Its cool. I didn't know where to find the ship date for the book so that was one of the reasons I posted the topic.

We always need people to test files. It seems no matter how much we look at things, we always miss something.

Hey, specifically, I'm going to be posting an updated listing of units by race. Would you be willing to help cross check it? If so, I'll post the link here. It will be one or more Google docs.

I get depressed whenever I start making this list. About the time I hit Imperial Guard. When the number of published rules for a given unit hits 4 I start bonking my head on the table. I'll try to get back to it.

i just bought the Army Builder tool and tried to create my Siege Assault Vanguard List. In IA 10 it is stated that Unique Independent Characters from the Codex SM, as well as these from IA 9 and 10 can be used as HQ for an SAV List. Unfortunately the HQs from the IA aren't an option here, just in the regular SM Chapter.

is it planned to implement them? or am i doing it wrong?
