Ok going to bring this up here 1st, instead of the Bug Tracker

according to the FAQ you can use a drop pod with nothing in it....
but there is no way to add JUST a transport (ie a drop pod) without a squad

so...is it I have to purchase the pod with a squad and drop it empty? or can I purchase the pod and drop it alone without a squad attached to it?

(before you ask....."deathwind missle launcher" is the answer to "why would you want to do that?")

You have to take the pod with the unit it is assigned to, as it's only available as a dedicated transport for a unit. Whether you deploy it empty or not is a decision you take when you deploy it, not when you create the list.
