Details for unit options via right-click

I have to imagine this has been asked and answered before, but is there a reason why some of the common gear is available (e.g. right-clicking on a Chaos Space Marine Sorceror's Plasma Pistol) and some merely points back to the codex page (e.g. said Chaos Space Marine Sorceror's Sigil of Corruption)? Is it solely a matter of work filling in the correct descriptions (e.g. adding in the wargear description or stat line) or is there a legal/historical reason that prevents this enumeration? Thanks!

Weapons profiles are given. Special rules are referenced to the book. This change was made at about the same time the disclaimer jumped in word count. You fill in the blanks as to the reason. You can search for other discussions.
