P.S. Lone Wolf has gotten back to me, and you should no longer have to add an alternate update list. I will try to keep this alternate updated as a fall back. (At AB launch or File->Switch Game System / Select a Game -> Get Updates -> Add Source) from this link:

Restarting AB is necessary after adding a new source. You should only need to do this once.
